BRUCE WOOD 2004
The
Door refers to a portal between dreaming and waking.
As the psychological drama unfolds, the film explores how individuals believe different realities.
Kent,
a realist who does not dream, is skeptical of those who do.
He meets three friends who are lucid dreamers.
He
is entertained by their stories, and he interprets their dreams
as thinly disguised requests for help.
Able to facilitate their desires, he does so willingly.
One
by one, the dreamers lose touch with reality and turn on Kent.
He tries to reconcile, with disastrous results.
