Bruce Wood

Like Henri Matisse and other Fauvists, Wood's overall effect creates an "upbeat" mood. In actuality, one can feel a sense of rhythm. Paul Klee, who was an accomplished musician as well as a painter, expressed that "Art should always bring happiness." This too seems to be Wood's credo.
