Bruce Wood
The pair of prints titled "Warm Afternoon" were ther result of experiencing the heat of an
August day. On a walk fron afa Press to Lake Michigan, the artist was impressed by the contrasting
temperatures encopuntered along the way. He returned to the studio with a small sketch, which was
worked into a larger master drawing for these screenprints.
The first version shows the cool shade, and version two represents the warm air.
