An expert in serigraph printing, Wood uses a combination
of opaque and transparent inks to create multiple color effects.
Impasto (raised) areas are created by using thicker silk fabrics.
Gloss areas are added to create a lively surface. The edges of
Bruce Wood's serigraphs are often "natural", to look
like an original painting on paper. There are only a handful
of printmakers of Wood's caliber in the entire United States.
