Julie Jankowski
Nudes in landscapes have been a recurring theme in
Julie Jankowski's paintings. In this screenprint, she recalls
her experiences at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's
Oxbow artist colony in Michigan, where she was a visiting artist.
The Oxbow lagoon was a favorite setting for painting models in
unspoiled natural surroundings.
